Job Summary

• Salary: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour + Tips (Experience-based)

• Schedule: Weekdays (7:30–16:00) and Saturdays (9:00–15:00). Saturday rotation is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence: Dial in espresso and maintain consistent quality throughout the day using a La Marzocco Linea PB and Mahlkönig E65S grinders.

• Milk & Art: Steam milk to high speciality standards and pour repeatable latte art.

• Hospitality: Act as a “host and educator,” turning first-time guests into regulars through warm, proactive service.

• Operational Flow: Rotate between shots, milk, and service; operate the POS; and upsell food and bakes.

• Maintenance: Care for high-end equipment, perform end-of-day backflushing, and maintain a tidy, hygienic bar and prep area.

Requirements

• Experience: 12+ months of speciality barista experience is required.

• Technical Skills: Confident in machine calibration, dial-in, and milk texturing.

• Certification: Level 2 Food Safety.

• Soft Skills: Punctuality, composure under pressure, and strong communication.

• Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK.
