Core Responsibilities

Safe Transit: Transport children to and from school and childcare centers, adhering to all Alberta traffic laws and specialized “Safe Kid Transport” protocols.

Vehicle Inspection: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is mechanically sound, clean, and safe for passengers.

Student Management: Maintain a “Positive & Structured” environment on the bus, using “interpersonal wit” to manage student behavior and ensure everyone remains seated and secure.

Route Accuracy: Follow designated routes and schedules with surgical precision to ensure students arrive at their destinations on time.

Candidate Requirements

Licensing: Must possess a valid Class 4 or Class 2 Driver’s License (or be willing to obtain one) with an “S” Endorsement.
