Job Overview: Part-Time Weekend Concierge (DC-007)

Guardian Security Services is seeking a high-energy, professional Concierge to managed the front desk of a luxury residential community in the Washington, D.C. 20001 area. This role is perfect for a hospitality professional who thrives on problem-solving and excels at maintaining “Five-Star” relationships with residents and guests.

As the face of the community during the weekend, you are responsible for ensuring the lobby runs efficiently while providing a warm, sophisticated experience for all members.


Key Responsibilities & Front Desk Operations

Residential Hospitality

  • Member Services: Provide excellent customer service, acting as the primary point of contact for resident needs, inquiries, and requests.

  • Local Expertise: Maintain extensive knowledge of the D.C. area, including top restaurants, tourist attractions, and local transportation services to provide expert recommendations.

  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain professional relationships with residents, staff, and vendors.

Administrative & Technical Tasks

  • Property Software: Utilize industry-standard platforms such as Building Link, Yardi, Rent Café, or Entrata to manage resident requests and packages.

  • Reporting: Use computer literacy skills to maintain digital logs, produce professional building signage, and submit shift reports.

  • Multi-tasking: Manage multiple front-desk functions simultaneously, from answering phones to coordinating vendor access, while maintaining a neat and professional appearance.


Requirements & Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • Background: Prior experience as a residential concierge is required. Experience working in large communities (250+ units) is highly desirable.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to interact professionally with the general public and all levels of personnel.

Core Competencies

  • Attributes: Outgoing, driven, and detail-oriented with a sincere interest in hospitality.

  • Organization: Strong planning and time-management skills to handle “peak” lobby periods effectively.

  • Compliance: Must successfully complete a background investigation and reference check upon hire.


Schedule & Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour.

  • Shift: Saturday and Sunday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
