Company & Location
The Home Depot Canada, the nation’s leading home improvement retailer, operates a significant network of stores across the Québec City area. While its Canadian headquarters is located in Toronto, its regional presence is anchored by large-format warehouses in key commercial zones like Sainte-Foy, Lebourgneuf, and Beauport. These locations serve as essential hubs for both DIY homeowners and professional contractors (Pro customers), offering over 40,000 products in-store and thousands more online. The Québec City branches are critical to the company’s “Interconnected Retail” strategy, providing specialized services like tool rental, kitchen design, and localized logistics for the Capitale-Nationale region.
Culture
The culture is built on a foundation of “Values-Based Leadership,” centered on the core principle of Taking Care of Our People. In Québec, this translates into a bilingual, high-energy environment guided by the “inverted pyramid” philosophy, where front-line associates are the most important part of the organization. The workplace emphasizes Respect for All People, Giving Back, and Doing the Right Thing. Employees benefit from “Success Sharing” profit-sharing programs and extensive technical training through the “Orange Promise” initiative.
