Job Description
Are you ready to become a guardian of a century-old legacy? The Fairmont Palliser is seeking a Night Bellperson to join our elite guest services team. In this part-time role, you aren’t just handling luggage; you are the primary point of contact during the quietest and most critical hours of the hotel’s operation. You will be the face of Fairmont luxury, ensuring that every dignitary, trailblazer, and weary traveler who walks through our doors at 3:00 am feels valued, respected, and “at home.”
The magic of the night shift at the Palliser lies in the details. Your shift will involve a dynamic mix of active service—such as expertly maneuvering a standard transmission vehicle into valet parking—and proactive hospitality, like personalizing a guest interaction with a thoughtful touch. You will be responsible for the “heart beat” of the lobby, maintaining its elegance while performing essential overnight walkthroughs and providing assistance with Boulevard Level services.
At Fairmont, we believe in the power of “never saying no.” You will be empowered to take initiative, anticipate guest needs before they are spoken, and solve problems with a level of autonomy that creates unforgettable experiences. This role is a perfect entry point into a world-class hotel operation where tradition meets innovation. Whether you are looking to build a career in luxury hospitality or simply want to be part of Calgary’s most iconic story, we offer an environment where your work is rewarded with comprehensive benefits and a true sense of belonging.
If you possess a valid driver’s license, an impeccable service mindset, and the reliability to excel in a night-shift environment, we invite you to help us shape the future of hospitality at the Fairmont Palliser.
