Core Responsibilities

Financial Auditing: Verify, balance, and reconcile the day’s financial activity, including room charges, taxes, and various payment methods.
Reporting: Prepare and distribute the “Daily Flash Report” and other essential operational documents for management and the morning shift.
Front Desk Leadership: Manage late-night arrivals and early-morning departures (check-ins/outs) and act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries.
Technical Operations: Utilize hotel management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office to track occupancy and revenue data.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any guest complaints or accounting discrepancies that occurred during the previous 24-hour cycle.
Safety & Security: Maintain a secure environment by monitoring the premises and following emergency protocols during the overnight hours.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: At least one year of experience in hotel operations (Front Desk or Night Audit preferred).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook) and familiarity with hotel management software (such as Opera or similar).
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to spot errors in financial data and troubleshoot technical or guest-related issues independently.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests and providing detailed shift handovers.
Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and the ability to work consistent overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
