Nanny Needed In Chicago Focused On Infant Care With Some Toddler And Household Support

We are looking for a reliable and organized part-time nanny to support our family in Chicago. This role is unique due to its split-shift structure, making it a great fit for someone who thrives during the high-energy “rush hours” of a young family’s day. Your primary focus will be providing attentive care for our infant, with secondary support for our active toddler. We are looking for a teammate who can balance childcare with light household tasks to keep our home running smoothly.

Core Requirements and Schedule

• Primary Care: Attentive care for an infant (0–11 months) and assisting with a toddler (1–3 years).

• Schedule: A “split shift” style on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

  • Morning Block: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Afternoon/Evening Block: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• Household Support: Comfortable with dogs; willing to assist with light housekeeping and laundry.

• Safety & Health: Non-smoker and CPR certified (preferred).

• Hourly Rate: $19.00 – $33.00/hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Infant Focus: Managing feeding, naps, and developmental play for the baby.

• Toddler Assistance: Helping with transitions, play, and evening routines for the toddler.

• Dog Friendly: Engaging comfortably with the family dog.

• Tidying: Keeping the nursery, play areas, and kitchen common spaces organized.
