Member Assistant – Cart Attendant | Sam’s Club
Location: 1525 W Bell Rd, Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $16.00 – $23.00 per hour (Plus potential premiums up to $3.00/hr)

At Sam’s Club, the Member Assistant is the heartbeat of the parking lot and the club entrance. You are the first and last person our members see, making you the most influential part of their shopping journey. Whether you’re navigating the Phoenix sun to keep carts ready or helping a member load a heavy bulk purchase into their car, your role is built on service, safety, and speed.
Your Role: The “Last Mile” of Member Service
You are responsible for the club’s exterior presentation and helping members transition from the aisles to their vehicles.

Cart & Flatbed Management: Utilizing cart retrieval equipment safely to ensure a steady supply of carts for incoming members.

Member Assistance: Helping members load large or heavy items into their vehicles and answering questions about club services.

Club Pickup Support: Assisting with filling and dispensing pickup orders, contacting members about delays, and offering substitutions.

Safety & Maintenance: Conducting “safety sweeps” in the parking lot to remove debris and ensure a clear, hazardous-free environment for pedestrians and cars.

Front-End Versatility: Utilizing cash registers to process purchases and assisting with different payment types as needed.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Physical Endurance: You will be on your feet for the duration of your shift, working in all weather conditions (rain, sun, or sleet).
