Responsibilities:

Inspecting equipment and performing routine maintenance on manufacturing and utility machines.

Installing and commissioning new machinery into the production environment.

Troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, and repairing equipment during breakdowns.

Operating and maintaining specialist equipment, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

Fitting new parts and verifying equipment functionality post-repair.

Ensuring engineering staff compliance with health and safety legislation and performance regulations.

Executing scheduled maintenance plans to mitigate production downtime.

Requirements:
-
Full-time trade apprentice training in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 03 or 04).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technician within a manufacturing environment.

Technical proficiency in PLC systems and factory assembly line mechanics.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Age below 35 years.
-
Proximity to the Bandaragama area is preferred.
