Job Overview: Luxury Client Advisor

Moncler is seeking a sophisticated and results-driven Luxury Client Advisor for its Los Angeles operations. This role is far beyond standard retail; it is about acting as a brand ambassador who “elevates experiences” and cultivates deep, long-term relationships with a global clientele.

In the luxury sector, the Client Advisor is the primary storyteller of the brand, blending product expertise with an intuitive understanding of high-net-worth consumer behavior to achieve ambitious sales goals.


Key Responsibilities & Client Artistry

Relationship Cultivation (Clienteling)

  • Bespoke Service: Provide an exceptional, tailored shopping experience that mirrors the prestige of the Moncler brand.

  • Relationship Building: Transition one-time visitors into loyal brand advocates through consistent, personalized follow-ups and “clienteling” strategies.

  • Sales Excellence: Drive individual and boutique sales targets by identifying client needs and offering expert styling advice.

Brand Representation

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain an expert-level understanding of Moncler’s collections, technical innovations (specifically in outerwear), and brand heritage.

  • Boutique Standards: Ensure the floor presentation and visual merchandising reflect the brand’s luxury positioning at all times.

  • Omnichannel Support: Assist clients across various platforms, ensuring a seamless experience whether they are shopping in-person or remotely.


Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Criteria

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, with a strong preference for candidates coming from luxury fashion or high-end hospitality.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to engage and influence diverse personalities.

  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and retail POS/CRM systems.

  • Language: Professional fluency in English is required.

Preferred Skills

  • Multilingualism: Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, French) is a significant advantage in the Los Angeles luxury market.

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to use CRM data to track client preferences and purchase history to drive future sales.


Understanding the Luxury Sales Cycle

In this role, you move through the Luxury Client Journey. Unlike fast-fashion, the goal here is to move the client from “Discovery” to “Advocacy” through a high-touch, emotional connection.

By focusing on the “Post-Purchase” phase—sending personalized notes or invitations to exclusive events—you ensure the client remains connected to the brand long after they leave the store.
