Core Responsibilities

Instructional Versatility: Deliver high-quality, Catholic-grounded education across three different grade levels and subject areas in a single day.

French Immersion Mastery: Facilitate Deep Learning in the afternoon for Grade 5 Immersion students, focusing on linguistic fluency and curriculum integration.

Early Years Planning: During the Kindergarten block, provide “off-floor” coverage for the Kinder team, ensuring continuity of the Emergent Curriculum and safe supervision.

Social Studies Integration: Teach Grade 3 Social Studies (French/English) with an “Integrity-first” approach to local and global citizenship.

Assessment & Reporting: Manage the evaluation and reporting of student progress for multiple cohorts, adhering to Growing Success guidelines.

Collaborative Environment: Work within the “Deep Learning” framework, collaborating with school staff, parents, and parish partners.
Candidate Requirements

Certification: Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).

Qualifications: Primary/Junior divisions; French as a Second Language (FSL) Part 1 (at minimum) is essential for the Grade 3 and Grade 5 components.

Mandatory Training: Successful completion of the OCT Sexual Abuse Prevention Training.

Technical Wit: Fluency in French (oral and written) and proficiency with educational technology (Google Workspace for Education).
