Unique Job Description
Comprehensive Household Assistant & Infant Nanny | 20 Hours/Week
The Opportunity
Are you a domestic professional who takes pride in maintaining a pristine home while providing nurturing, high-quality infant care? Our family in Calgary is looking for a dedicated Nanny to support us and our 6-month-old daughter. This is a unique role designed for a “super-helper” who can seamlessly transition from deep-cleaning and family laundry to the gentle, patient care of a young baby.
If you are someone who finds joy in creating a structured, clean, and loving environment for a growing infant, this part-time role offers a stable and rewarding connection with our family.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
This role is split between focused childcare and essential household management. You will be responsible for:
-
Infant Milestones: Providing a nurturing environment for our 6-month-old, including bathing, dressing, and preparing her specific meals. We value a caregiver who truly engages with her developmental needs.
-
The “Whole-Home” Reset: Unlike a standard nanny role, you will take the lead on cleaning the entire house and managing the family’s laundry to ensure our home remains a sanctuary.
-
Culinary Support: Preparing meals for the household, ensuring that the family is well-fed and organized.
-
January Seminar Support: A key component of this role is providing dedicated assistance from January 21–26. During this time, you will support the father while I am away at a seminar, ensuring our daughter has a consistent, caring female presence to engage with her.
Who You Are
-
Attentive & Patient: You have a deep understanding of 6-month-olds and can provide the gentle care they require.
-
A Domestic Expert: You are thorough with housekeeping and laundry and enjoy the satisfaction of a clean, well-managed home.
-
Flexible & Committed: You are comfortable with a schedule that touches most days of the week and can commit to the specific January dates.
-
Reliable: You take your role in the health and well-being of a child seriously and are looking for a long-term part-time fit.
