Job Overview:
As a Loss Prevention Clerk, you will monitor, investigate, and prevent internal and external theft while ensuring a safe workplace. This role requires sharp observational skills, ethical decision-making, and collaboration with management and law enforcement to protect company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol warehouse and perimeter for safety and security concerns up to 8 hours daily.

• Detect, deter, and apprehend shoplifters; interview and detain when necessary.

• Report internal dishonesty and potential theft situations to management.

• Maintain evidence and investigative reports for internal use and prosecution.

• Testify in court regarding theft investigations when required.

• Educate warehouse team on loss prevention policies, procedures, and safety.

• Coordinate with other Loss Prevention Clerks and local businesses regarding theft threats.

• Attend meetings and seminars to stay current on loss prevention practices.

• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Valid Loss Prevention License as required by province.

• Loss prevention experience preferred, including knowledge of Canadian Criminal Code, Charter of Rights, Trespass, and Privacy Acts.

• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.

• French communication skills required for Quebec postings.
