Longterm Part Time Nanny Needed Southside Chicago

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and active part-time nanny to care for our two young children (a 2-year-old and an infant) three days a week. This role is ideal for someone who loves being “on the go” and enjoys balancing the quiet, nurturing needs of an infant with the high-energy curiosity of a toddler. We are looking for a caregiver who can serve as an adventure leader for our eldest and a consistent, loving presence for our youngest.

Core Responsibilities

• Toddler Engagement: Taking our 2-year-old to daily activities, including park visits, museum trips, and gym classes to encourage socialization and physical play.

• Infant Care: Providing full daily care for our baby (under 1 year), including feeding, nap schedules, and developmental milestones.

• Safe Transportation: Transporting our toddler to and from his various programs and classes (until he is enrolled in full-day care).

• Routine Management: Managing the differing schedules of two very different developmental stages simultaneously.

Schedule & Basics

• Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

• Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (36 hours per week).

• Hourly Rate: $17.00 – $30.00/hour.

• Requirements: Must have your own reliable transportation and a safe driving record.
