We are seeking a constant, full-time Long-Distance Truck Operator to integrate with our Winnipeg-based department to:

• Manage and navigate tractor-trailer units, including long-combination vehicles, to move inventory and supplies across extensive routes within Canada and the United States.

• Maintain punctual coordination with the logistics supervisor, routing office, and fellow staff members through collaborative efforts.

• Organize voyage logistics and secure all mandatory paperwork for the movement of products.

• Execute thorough pre-trip, mid-route, and post-trip evaluations of mechanical systems, components, and tools such as braking systems, lighting, tires, and refrigeration units.

• Verify that freight is immobilized correctly following safety mandates and adhere to all protective protocols.

• Document freight details, service durations, transit mileage, and fuel consumption in a timely fashion.

Prerequisites:

Applicants must provide a Class 1A operator’s permit, a pristine driving history/CVOR, a clear criminal background check, and at least 6 months of verifiable background. Capacity to manage weights up to 23 kg (50lbs) is necessary.
