Job Overview:
As a Laser Cutter Operator, you will operate the Summa laser cutting system, interpret work orders, ensure high-quality cuts, perform routine maintenance, and support production goals. This full-time, permanent role provides on-the-job training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to grow your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor a Summa laser cutting system to cut and process materials accurately

• Set up jobs, adjust machine settings, and select cutting parameters

• Interpret work orders and digital files to ensure precision and quality

• Conduct quality checks on finished products

• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate technical concerns

• Collaborate with production, design, and supervisory teams

• Perform routine machine inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; training provided

• Computer savvy and able to operate production software

• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team

• Effective English communication skills

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Ability to stand for periods and lift materials as required
