Role Summary: IT Manager, Ops Tech Solutions (OTS)

Ops Tech IT is the backbone of Amazon’s global delivery machine, providing 24/7 technical support to our Fulfillment, Sortation, and Last Mile facilities. As an IT Manager, you will lead a diverse team of professionals dedicated to maintaining the mission-critical infrastructure that keeps our packages moving. You aren’t just managing a help desk; you are overseeing a complex ecosystem of redundant fiber networks, robotics, and mobile computing across Windows, Linux, and Android platforms. Whether launching a new Fulfillment Center or optimizing existing systems, you will be the primary technical partner for Amazon’s human and robotic workforce.

Key Requirements & Skills

• 5+ years of developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations experience

• 2+ years of leading technology teams as an information technology operations manager experience

• Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years of professional or military experience

• Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

• Knowledge of hardware architectures

• Experience with system management tools and client/server environments

• Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% to support regional facilities.
