Job Responsibilities

The Utility Cleaner ensures the “invisible” standards of luxury are met through rigorous maintenance:

Departmental Support: Assisting the kitchen team by cleaning heavy-duty culinary equipment, pots, and pans, and supporting the laundry department with facility maintenance.
Equipment Operation: Safely operating industrial dishwashers, floor scrubbers, and other specialized cleaning machinery after receiving onsite training.
Sanitation & Hygiene: Maintaining the highest levels of sanitation in “Heart-of-House” areas, including staff cafeterias, loading docks, and kitchen corridors.
Waste Management: Following the hotel’s recycling and waste disposal protocols to ensure an eco-friendly and hazard-free environment.
Chemical Safety: Using cleaning agents and chemicals strictly according to safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety standards.
Team Collaboration: Working alongside chefs, stewards, and housekeepers to ensure the hotel meets the “Gold Standards” of The Ritz-Carlton.
