Core Responsibilities

• Financial Reconciliation: Verify and balance daily transactions, including room charges and cash receipts; audit guest accounts for accuracy.

• Reporting: Prepare and distribute comprehensive daily reports to management and departmental heads.

• Front Desk Operations: Execute check-in/check-out procedures, answer phones, and manage guest inquiries or complaints with professional poise.

• Safety & Security: Monitor the property during the night shift to address any safety issues and ensure a secure environment for guests.

• Problem Resolution: Follow up on unresolved guest issues from previous shifts and manage new requests in a timely manner.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a hotel front desk role (required) and 1 year of Night Audit experience (preferred).

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); hospitality or accounting coursework is a distinct asset.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Hotel Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS).

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of attention to detail regarding financial transactions.

• Availability: Must be able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Logistics: Must have a reliable commute to the T2E 7Y5 area of Calgary.
