Core Responsibilities

• Guest Lifecycle Management: Positively represent the hotel during all stages of a guest’s stay, from check-in to departure, ensuring a memorable experience.

• Financial Auditing: During night shifts, verify that all shift closeouts balance across Opera, First Data, and Pixel Point systems.

• Accounting Procedures: Audit paperwork from both the hotel and restaurant; manage direct billing, third-party credit cards, and payment verifications.

• Sales & Promotion: Maintain expert knowledge of room types, locations, amenities, and property features to drive upselling and guest satisfaction.

• Departmental Liaison: Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B to ensure all guest needs are met promptly.

• Technical Operations: Utilize office equipment and common computer programs to manage reservations and internal communications.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: * 5 years of customer service (required).

  • 3 years of Hotel Front Desk experience (preferred).

  • 2 years of experience with the Opera PMS (preferred).

• Skills: Strong computer literacy, attention to detail, and a sales-minded approach to hospitality.

• Language: Fluent in English (required).

• Attributes: Customer-service oriented, a “team player” mentality, and the ability to communicate property values clearly.

• Logistics: Must be able to reliably commute to the Calgary airport area for in-person shifts.
