At Chili’s, the Host is the “Director of First Impressions.” You aren’t just seating people at tables; you are setting the energy for their entire meal. Whether it’s a family celebrating a birthday or friends grabbing margaritas after work, you are the welcoming face that makes them feel like a VIP from the moment they step through the door.


Your Daily Impact

  • The Welcome: Greet every Guest with a genuine smile and a warm “Welcome to Chili’s!”

  • Flow Management: Use our seating system to manage the waitlist efficiently, balancing server rotations to keep the dining room humming.

  • Communication Hub: Answer the phone within three rings and act as the bridge between Guests and Managers to resolve any concerns.

  • Team Support: Pitch in to help servers or bussers when things get busy—teamwork is the secret sauce to our culture.

  • Personality: A caring, “people-first” attitude. You genuinely enjoy making others feel special.

  • Agility: The ability to think on your feet in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
