We are seeking a Head Barista to join our groundbreaking launch team. This is a rare, foundational opportunity to help build a brand’s beverage standards and café culture from day one.
The Role: Craft Leader & Culture Carrier
As the Head Barista, you are the heartbeat of the bar. You don’t just pull shots; you set the energetic tone for the space. You will balance technical expertise with intentional hospitality, ensuring that every guest—from the neighborhood creative to the local family—feels seen and cared for.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Bar: Oversee daily operations, ensuring every espresso, tea, and specialty beverage is served with consistent excellence.

Build the Manual: Help develop drink recipes, seasonal specials, and training toolkits to standardize our “village” experience.

Mentor the Team: Train and support future baristas as our family grows, fostering a culture of curiosity and care.

Manage Flow: Handle opening procedures, daily prep, and closing tasks while maintaining a pristine, organized workspace.

Community Engagement: Interact with guests in a grounded, inclusive, and friendly manner, embodying Casabuela’s values.

What You Bring to the Village
We are looking for a leader who is as passionate about storytelling as they are about specialty coffee.
Qualifications:

Expertise: 2+ years of barista experience; prior leadership or “Lead Barista” experience is highly preferred.

Technical Skill: Deep knowledge of espresso preparation and the ability to create and document beverage recipes.

Cultural Literacy: Advanced Spanish language skills (preferred) and a passion for community-centered spaces.

Demeanor: A calm, patient, and welcoming presence, particularly in family-oriented environments.

Credentials: Food Handlers License (preferred) and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Bonus Points: Bartending experience is a plus!
