    • Hourly Rate: $18.50 per hour.

  • Estimated Average Salaries: For the 2026 season, full-time golf services roles in the BC Interior average approximately $3,000 – $3,400 per month (base), often supplemented by guest gratuities for bag handling and valet services.


Core Responsibilities

  • Tee Time Management: Efficiently manage the daily tee sheet, ensuring golfers are checked in and directed to the starting area on schedule.

  • Guest Welcoming: Provide a professional and warm “premier resort” greeting to all guests and members upon arrival.

  • Operational Flow: Coordinate with the Player Assistants (Marshals) and Pro Shop staff to maintain a consistent pace of play on the course.

  • Equipment Coordination: Assist guests with luggage and golf clubs; ensure power carts are clean, staged, and fully equipped for play.

  • Information Hub: Act as a local expert, providing guests with accurate information regarding course conditions, local weather, and resort amenities.

  • Service Excellence: Proactively identify opportunities to exceed guest expectations, from managing special requests to resolving minor scheduling conflicts.

Candidate Requirements

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with high-end resort clientele.

  • Hospitality Passion: A genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service and a “guest-first” mentality.

  • Fast-Paced Capability: Ability to remain calm and organized during peak morning “rushes” and tournament events.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift golf bags or equipment weighing up to 40–50 lbs.

  • Availability: Must be available for the full duration of the season (April to October), including weekends and holidays.

  • Golf Knowledge: Prior experience or knowledge of golf etiquette and course operations is a significant asset.
