Job Duties

Ticketing Operations Support: Facilitate domestic and international ticketing for high-profile MLB events, including the All-Star Game, World Baseball Classic, and special series like Field of Dreams and International Games.

Financial Reconciliation: Manage complex financial ticket reconciliations for internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure all global billing is accurate and processed on schedule.

Postseason Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for the ticketing section of the MLB Postseason Manual, ensuring all procedures and protocols are documented and followed.

Budgeting & Reporting: Oversee the compilation of financial documents, operational reports, and budget forecasting items to assist the Finance department in event planning.

On-Site Event Support: Provide technical and operational ticketing support on-site at global games and hospitality events, often requiring domestic and international travel.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various internal MLB departments to synchronize ticketing initiatives with overall event goals.

Presentation Management: Design and maintain high-level PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders and executive reviews.
Requirements

Technical Aptitude: Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint) and experience with Google Drive and Adobe Acrobat.

Software Preference: Familiarity with professional ticketing systems like Archtics, ProVenue, or Ticketmaster is highly preferred.

Time Management: Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and solve problems creatively in an extremely fast-paced professional sports environment.

Financial Literacy: Strong attention to detail regarding financial documentation, billing, and reconciliation processes.

Availability: Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends and the ability to travel globally for events.

Linguistic Skills: While not required, fluency or proficiency in Spanish is considered a significant advantage for international event operations.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Background: Experience in professional sports or large-scale special events is a major asset.

Communication: Excellent organizational, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
