Job Duties

Support ticketing operations for high-profile domestic and international MLB events including the All-Star Game, World Baseball Classic, and International Games.

Manage complex PowerPoint presentations to communicate event strategies and operational updates to stakeholders.

Reconcile financial ticket data for internal departments and external groups to ensure global event billing is accurate and timely.

Serve as the primary administrator for the ticketing section of the official Postseason Manual.

Compile financial documentation and reporting for Global Events to assist the Finance department with budget forecasting.

Coordinate cross-functionally with various internal departments to align on event-specific ticketing requirements.

Provide on-site operational support for ticketing initiatives and hospitality events at game locations.

Maintain organized records of ticket allocations and sales for diverse global event portfolios.

Oversee the distribution of financial reports relevant to the planning phases of major baseball events.

Assist with administrative tasks as required to ensure the smooth execution of the Global Events Department’s goals.
Requirements

Multitask effectively within a high-pressure, fast-paced professional sports environment.

Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite with a specific emphasis on creating high-level PowerPoint presentations.

Meet strict deadlines while managing the financial complexities of international event ticketing.

Solve problems creatively and apply strong analytical thinking to operational challenges.

Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats with internal and external partners.

Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as required by the MLB event calendar.

Travel both domestically and internationally to support on-site event operations.

Utilize computer aptitude to manage data within Google Drive and Adobe Acrobat.
Qualifications
-
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent professional experience.

Maintain experience with ticketing platforms such as Archtics, ProVenue, or Ticketmaster (preferred).

Demonstrate a strong understanding of baseball and experience in special events or professional sports.

Possess fluency or a strong understanding of Spanish or other languages (plus).
