Job Duties

  • Member Engagement: Greet every member and guest with genuine enthusiasm to foster the meaningful relationships that define the Breuckelen Athletic community.

  • Sales & Facility Tours: Conduct walkthroughs for potential members, highlighting training and recovery offerings with the goal of driving new membership sign-ups.

  • Operational Execution: Perform all opening and closing procedures to ensure daily gym operations are frictionless and professional.

  • Facility Maintenance: Take ownership of the gym’s high standards by frequently organizing equipment and cleaning to ensure the facility remains spotless.

  • Administrative Support: Manage email inquiries with high etiquette and handle business tasks such as scheduling startup sessions with coaches.

  • Physical Tasks: Actively straighten the gym floor, which includes frequent bending, lifting equipment (25–45 lbs), and walking the facility.

  • Growth Initiatives: Support the management team with marketing and communications, potentially assisting with social media, website updates, and email campaigns.

  • Brand Advocacy: Promote the “love of the process” and mental well-being focus of the brand over trendy or social-media-led fitness fixes.


Requirements

  • Enthusiastic Personality: Bring a friendly, personable, and high-energy attitude to every shift.

  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills, specifically focused on professional email etiquette.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy gym equipment (up to 50+ lbs) and stay active on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem Solving: A “no-task-too-small” mindset with the ability to multitask and troubleshoot operational issues independently.

  • Availability: Must have either evening or weekend availability to support fixed team schedules.

  • Attendance: Maintain regular and punctual attendance as a vital member of a growing team.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area is preferred (e.g., Sports Management, Business, Hospitality) to support long-term growth within the company.

  • Experience: Background in executive assistance, hospitality, operations, or digital marketing is highly valued but not strictly required.

  • Passion: A genuine interest in fitness, mental well-being, and the specific mission of Breuckelen Athletic.
