Colombo Fort Group Services (Private) Limited is the Shared Services Center of the Colombo Fort Land & Building Group and is involved in the strategic services of Information Technology, Human Resources, Insurance and Health & Safety.

Position Overview

The Operations & Finance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all team deliveries are completed accurately and on time. This role acts as the central point for monitoring deadlines, clearing bottlenecks, following up with team members, and ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. The ideal candidate will come from a finance background with strong process understanding, system knowledge, and the ability to streamline workflow across a team handling diverse tasks.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor all tasks and timelines to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to by the team and identify bottlenecks, process delays, or workload imbalances and take proactive steps to resolve them.
• Act as the coordinator ensuring that tasks flow smoothly between team members and follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Apply finance knowledge to understand task requirements and to maintain high level of accuracy in work completion.
• Remove obstacles and proactively resolve operational issues
• Assist in optimizing existing systems and recommending process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, CA Sri Lanka – part/fully qualified) will be an added advantage.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance operations, coordination roles, or process-oriented environments.
• Experience working with SLAs, workflow management, or operational tracking is preferred.
