S.i. Systems invites you to join our team as a Finance and Administration Lead (RQ02020). In this temporary role, you will oversee financial and administrative operations, drive strategic planning, and ensure compliance while providing leadership and guidance across the Human Services Division.

Job Overview:
The Finance and Administration Lead directs overall financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the organization. You will oversee risk management, internal controls, and compliance while partnering with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. This temporary contract provides a hands-on opportunity to guide a public sector division.
Responsibilities:

Lead the organization’s financial operations and develop accounting systems and procedures.

Prepare and submit Board and Provincial budgets in compliance with legislative requirements.

Manage asset and risk management plans, ensuring proper internal and external reporting.

Produce financial statements, forecasts, quarterly reports, and year-end reconciliations.

Advise program directors and managers on financial matters, monitoring program finances and developing corrective actions when needed.

Design and monitor internal control systems to safeguard organizational assets.

Ensure systems and documentation meet compliance and audit standards.

Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic and operational decision-making.
Requirements:

Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or related field; CPA designation is an asset.

Minimum 5 years senior management experience in a public sector environment.

Strong expertise in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and strategic planning.

Experience in municipal government or public sector organizations preferred.

Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences, including Boards and management teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to provide strategic insights.

Ability to lead with integrity, credibility, and foster a positive team culture.

Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ driver’s license.
