Job Overview
As an Extrusion Operator, you will operate plastic molding and extrusion machinery, assist with start-up and shut-down procedures, and maintain quality and safety standards. This role includes hands-on training, cross-training in other areas, and opportunities for permanent hire based on attendance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion equipment according to company procedures

• Assist with start-up and shut-down tasks as directed

• Perform machine checks, clean-ups, and material handling (e.g., purgings, string-up, hacksaw)

• Maintain accurate machine check sheets and adhere to 5S standards

• Support cross-training initiatives and other warehouse tasks as needed

Requirements

• Plastic extrusion experience required

• Able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations

• Physically fit and able to lift 30 lbs consistently

• Shift flexible and able to work days, afternoons, or nights

• High attention to safety and operational procedures

• Ability to work independently and maintain consistent attendance

• Good use of hand tools and measuring instruments

Benefits
