The Evening Laundry Aide (Part-Time) at Revera Inc. is a specialized environmental services role focused on the “Dignity of Dress” for residents in a senior living community. Working the 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM shift, you are responsible for the entire textile lifecycle—from soiled collection to clean delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Textile Management: Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold residents’ personal clothing and facility linens according to strict hygiene standards.

  • Garment Care: Utilize sewing techniques for minor repairs (buttons, hems, small tears) to ensure residents’ clothing remains in excellent condition.

  • Distribution: Accurately sort and deliver clean laundry to residents’ rooms, ensuring every item is returned to its rightful owner.

  • Infection Control: Adhere to healthcare laundry protocols to prevent cross-contamination, specifically separating “soiled” and “clean” zones.

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate industrial-grade washers and dryers, monitoring chemical levels and machine performance.

  • Communication: Maintain professional interactions with residents and nursing staff to coordinate special requests or urgent laundry needs.
