Enterprise AE Care Orchestration

Job Overview: Enterprise AE, Care Orchestration

Vim is seeking 2–3 founding Enterprise Account Executives to build the commercial engine for a proven, category-defining healthcare platform. Based in New York City, this is a high-stakes, “player-coach” style role where you will not inherit a territory or a playbook—you will create them.

Vim’s platform replaces the need for hundreds of individual, 18-month EHR integration projects by providing a single Care Orchestration layer that works across all major EHRs. This is a horizontal infrastructure sale into health systems and the broader health tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities & The Sales Motion

Full-Cycle Pipeline Ownership

  • Zero Inheritance: You are responsible for 100% of your pipeline. There is no SDR team; you will source, develop, and close enterprise deals through cold outreach, research, and strategic networking.

  • Full-Cycle Execution: Manage the process from the first meeting to a signed contract with no handoffs. You will lead discovery, business case development, and procurement navigation.

  • Strategic Mapping: Identify champions and blockers within complex buying committees, including CIOs, CMOs, and VPs of Clinical Operations.

Platform Evangelism

  • Infrastructure vs. Point Solution: Move the narrative away from individual “features” to a cross-EHR infrastructure pitch. You must make horizontal technology feel vertical and tangible for IT, clinical, and finance leaders.

  • Narrative Development: Tailor pitches to specific pain points (e.g., a CIO’s need to reduce integration costs vs. a provider group’s need to operationalize quality measures).

  • Playbook Creation: Document successful strategies and “write the institutional knowledge” that will be used to scale the sales org.

Qualifications: The “Non-Negotiables”

Professional Track Record

  • Experience: 7+ years of enterprise sales with a consistent pattern of closing deals above $500K ACV.

  • Healthcare Depth: Genuine domain expertise. You must be able to hold a 30-minute, substantive conversation about care delivery models and clinical data flows without a cheat sheet.

  • Complex Committees: Proven experience engaging simultaneous stakeholders across IT, Clinical, and Finance departments.

Technical & Tactical Skills

  • Whiteboard Readiness: You must understand cross-EHR architecture and integration models well enough to earn credibility with engineering leaders.

  • AI-Enabled Workflow: You use AI tools daily for account research, org chart mapping, and deal strategy, and can articulate how they improve your output.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel 30%+ for client sites, executive dinners, and industry conferences.

Compensation & Equity Package

  • Base Salary: $150,000 – $180,000

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $300,000 – $360,000 (Uncapped commission + accelerators).

  • Equity: Meaningful Series C stock options in a company with a strong runway and a technical “moat.”

  • Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare from day one, plus a generous budget for travel and relationship building.

Why Join Vim Right Now?

  • Build the Machine: You aren’t a cog in a big-company wheel (Oracle/Epic). You are the architect of the motion that future reps will follow.

  • Founder Access: You will report directly to the CEO, who will be in the room on your major deals.

  • Proven Tech: Unlike many early-stage startups, the technology is already live, proven, and deployed. Your job is to make the sales motion as repeatable as the technology.

  • Career Trajectory: This role is designed to evolve into a Strategic Accounts or VP role as the team scales.

Application Guidance

Vim is looking for “drivers,” not “passengers.” If your best deals were handed to you by an inbound machine or an SDR, this is not the right fit. Your interview should focus on how you’ve built territories from scratch and navigated category-creating infrastructure sales.
