Duties and Responsibilities
During this period of your employment, your title will be Mechanic, reporting to the Vice President of Electrical Services. You are required to consistently give your full professional commitment to fulfilling your role at Energo, while also following all current company policies and procedures. You shall be responsible for performing those duties as are customary for, and are consistent with, your position. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Respond to customer service requests related to mechanical or electrical systems and equipment.
• Work alongside and assist other employees in completing assigned work orders.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, control panels, breakers, and related components.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and construction tasks as required, ensuring all work complies with the NYC & National Electrical Code (NEC) and company standards.
• Maintain detailed daily records of labor, materials, and work completed; report deficiencies or hazards immediately.
• Process paperwork which includes service tickets, work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance forms.
• Attend and participate in all departmental training and meetings.
• Perform any duties assigned in an emergency as determined by management.
• Be safety focused with an ability to demonstrate the safe operation of the assigned Company service vehicle.
• Provide exceptional customer satisfaction daily while interacting with customers maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Work safely and use safety equipment; be familiar with and adhere to EPA and OSHA policies.
• Ensure that Company and Government safety, policy and regulatory standards are always met.
• Interact with customers to ensure that we provide all our customers with the best possible satisfaction.
• Collect payments from customers when required.
• Report to work as scheduled with minimal absenteeism or tardiness.
