Job Overview
As a Direct Support Care Worker, you will assist individuals with daily living, personal care, medical appointments, medication administration, and social development while documenting progress and ensuring safety and well-being. Flexible shifts provide opportunities to impact lives meaningfully across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

  • First Aid, CPR, TLR certification

  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

  • Minimum availability of 11 shifts per 28-day roster, flexible for days, evenings, nights

  • Strong observational, multitasking, and communication skills

  • Empathy and interest in working with individuals experiencing disability

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and medical appointments

  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, activities, health, and incidents

  • Communicate effectively with individuals, including non-verbal clients

  • Identify triggers and manage challenging behaviors respectfully

  • Serve as a positive role model and encourage interpersonal skills development
