Job Duties

  • Create high-impact visual identities for a diverse portfolio of live events, conferences, and experiential marketing activations.

  • Design large-scale environmental graphics including stage backdrops, directional signage, and custom fabrication elements.

  • Develop integrated digital assets for event promotion across social media, email campaigns, and registration landing pages.

  • Produce polished presentation decks and sales collateral that maintain strict brand consistency for corporate stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with event planners and technical teams to ensure design files meet specific architectural and venue requirements.

  • Manage the end-to-end production process by liaising with external printers, fabricators, and AV vendors.

  • Review and approve prepress proofs to ensure color accuracy and material quality for all physical brand touchpoints.

  • Conceptualize 3D mockups and spatial renderings to help clients visualize event layouts and branding opportunities.

  • Direct on-site installation of branding elements to ensure final execution matches the approved design vision.

  • Maintain an organized digital library of templates and assets to streamline the creative workflow for recurring annual events.


Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a closely related creative discipline.

  • Demonstrate significant professional experience in design specifically tailored for events, exhibitions, or experiential marketing.

  • Exhibit expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

  • Show a portfolio of work that displays strong typography, spatial awareness, and large-format print knowledge.

  • Apply a deep understanding of the technical requirements for different printing substrates and installation methods.

  • Communicate design concepts clearly to non-creative stakeholders and external production partners.

  • Manage tight production timelines and multiple projects simultaneously without compromising aesthetic quality.

  • Possess a working knowledge of 3D modeling software or spatial design tools like SketchUp or Rhino.

  • Adapt quickly to changing project scopes and venue constraints in a fast-paced New York agency or corporate environment.

  • Reside in the New York metropolitan area for necessary on-site event supervision and team collaboration.
