At Dave & Buster’s, the “Winner’s Circle” is the heart of the Midway. This isn’t just a retail counter; it’s the place where Guest’s hard-earned tickets turn into rewards. As a Winner’s Circle Associate, you are the final touchpoint of the Guest experience, ensuring every kid (and kid-at-heart) leaves with a smile and a great prize.

Your Role: The “Celebration Specialist”

You are the guide for our Guests through the prize redemption process, balancing efficiency with high-energy service.

• Guest Engagement: Greet every Guest with a smile, answer questions, and make recommendations on the best merchandise.

• Inventory Mastery: Keep the Winner’s Circle looking sharp. You’ll be responsible for stocking plush toys, organizing shelves, and setting up eye-catching displays.

• Technical Accuracy: Practice cost control by accurately weighing tickets, scanning merchandise, and performing inventory reconciliations.

• The “Midway” Liaison: If a game isn’t working, you’re the first to know. You’ll coordinate with Support Technicians to keep the fun moving.

• The Final Farewell: Ensure every Guest is happy before they head out the door, and invite them back for more fun.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Energy: A positive attitude and the ability to smile frequently in a loud, high-energy environment.

• Communication: Strong verbal skills to guide Guests and clear written skills for shift notes.

• Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for 100% of your shift and lift up to 30 lbs.

• Flexibility: Availability to work days, nights, and weekends—whenever the party is happening!

The Winner’s Circle Workflow

To keep the line moving and the Guests happy, you’ll follow the Dave & Buster’s “Gold Standard” for redemption:

1. The Welcome: Acknowledge Guests as they approach the counter, even if you’re helping someone else.

2. The Selection: Help Guests “spend” their tickets wisely, pointing out new or popular items.

3. The Transaction: Accurately scan items and weigh tickets to ensure the points balance perfectly.

4. The Recovery: Immediately restock any “holes” in the plush wall or toy bins to keep the display looking full and exciting.
