Job Summary
The Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services Department supports the creation of a healthy, inclusive, and dynamic city by ensuring residents, visitors, and communities can access recreation and cultural facilities, programs, services, and events. The department also manages buildings and facilities to enhance integrated service delivery and improve the overall customer experience across City-operated locations.
In this role, you will provide operational and administrative assistance to assigned Recreation Facilities, Arts Centres, or programs. Responsibilities include handling cash transactions, providing clerical and administrative support, completing technical and program-related tasks, assisting with registrations and information requests, offering general supervision, and delivering high-quality customer service to the public.
Education and Experience

Completion of Grade 11

Minimum one year of experience in an administrative position involving public interaction

Completion of a college diploma in Administration, Recreation, or a related discipline, combined with at least six months of experience, is considered an asset
Certifications and Licences

Valid Standard First Aid certification

Current CPR – 2 Rescuer certification

Valid AED Operator certification

AODA Customer Service / IASR Training

Proven computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn and effectively use required corporate software applications, including Word, Excel, Presentations, CLASS, Electronic Cash Management Systems, and Microsoft Outlook
