Job Duties

  • Execute targeted lifecycle messaging campaigns across email, SMS, and push notification channels to drive customer retention.

  • Draft compelling, concise copy for automated marketing triggers that align with specific user behaviors and milestones.

  • Build and test messaging templates using HTML/CSS and integrated marketing automation platforms.

  • Coordinate the deployment calendar to ensure a balanced cadence of communications across the New York-based customer segments.

  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends in open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.

  • Perform regular A/B tests on subject lines, creative assets, and call-to-action buttons to optimize engagement.

  • Maintain the health of the customer database by monitoring bounce rates and managing opt-out preferences.

  • Collaborate with the creative and product teams to ensure messaging remains consistent with brand guidelines and product updates.

  • Assist in the segmentation of the user base to deliver highly personalized content based on purchase history and demographics.

  • Report weekly on messaging effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for strategy adjustments.


Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related business field.

  • Demonstrate professional experience in digital messaging, specifically within email marketing or CRM roles.

  • Exhibit proficiency in marketing automation tools such as Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Show a strong understanding of email deliverability best practices and CAN-SPAM/GDPR compliance.

  • Apply basic technical skills in HTML and CSS for email template troubleshooting and formatting.

  • Communicate effectively through written copy that resonates with diverse consumer audiences.

  • Display high attention to detail when managing complex deployment schedules and audience exclusion lists.

  • Utilize analytical skills to interpret campaign results and present findings to internal stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Reside in or be willing to commute to the New York office for full-time collaboration.
