This role requires an expert navigator of the Mirsal II and Dubai Trade portals, with a specific focus on the complex regulatory requirements of the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) and Dubai Municipality . You will be responsible for mitigating risks, resolving documentation discrepancies, and ensuring that every shipment adheres to the latest UAE customs laws to avoid costly delays.
Key Responsibilities
The Customs Broker at Cannata manages the technical and administrative lifecycle of every shipment:

Pre-Entry Documentation Audit: Review and evaluate all shipment documents (Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin) prior to submission to ensure 100% accuracy and regulatory compliance.

End-to-End Clearance: Manage the full clearance process for shipments across the UAE mainland and all major Free Zones, with specialized oversight for JAFZA operations.

Digital Portal Management: Prepare, submit, and upload all required declarations through relevant government and customs portals (Dubai Trade, Mirsal II, etc.).

Regulatory Liaison: Coordinate directly with Dubai Customs , the Global Customs Authority , and other regulatory bodies to expedite processing and resolve “held” shipments.

Inspection Coordination: Schedule and physically attend cargo inspections with customs authorities, providing technical answers to inspectors to facilitate immediate release.
