Career Trajectory: With 80% of managers starting as Crew, a entry-level position in 2026 can realistically lead to a Restaurateur (General Manager) position within 3–4 years, often with six-figure total compensation packages.
Interview & Application Insights
-
The “13 Characteristics”: Chipotle historically hires based on 13 specific traits (like being ambitious, happy, and high-energy). Showing up with a positive, “can-do” attitude is more important than knowing how to roll a burrito on day one.
-
Food Integrity: Mentioning your appreciation for “real food” and “responsibly sourced ingredients” shows you align with the company’s mission to Cultivate a Better World.
-
Team Synergy: Be ready to talk about a time you worked as part of a team to solve a problem. In the “Springs,” locations near Nevada Ave or Interquest get extremely busy—hiring managers need to know you won’t crack under the pressure of a long line.
