Job Overview:
The Cook supports all areas of the kitchen, preparing and executing dishes to high standards while maintaining sanitation and organization. You will play a critical role in producing exceptional culinary experiences for our guests while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:

Organize and prepare mise en place

Follow recipes to prepare soups, salads, sauces, and entrees
-
Cook meat, fish, vegetables, and other foods using various methods (grilling, sautéing, roasting, steaming)

Portion ingredients per standard recipes and plating guidelines
-
Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized workstations
-
Assist with prep, cutting, marinating during off-peak periods

Follow safe food handling and hygiene practices

Monitor and record storage temperatures and prevent cross-contamination

Report hazards or unsafe conditions per OHSA
-
Support waste reduction and environmental compliance

Maintain positive interactions with colleagues and guests
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Culinary education and training required
-
Food Handlers Certification; Red Seal certificate is an asset

2–3 years culinary experience in food service or hospitality

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Team-oriented and collaborative

Basic computer knowledge
