Job Overview: Contact Center Representative (Work From Home)

AWL (All Web Leads) is hiring part-time, remote Contact Center Representatives based in Houston or the surrounding Texas area. In this “concierge” style role, you act as the vital link between consumers seeking insurance and licensed agents ready to assist them. Because you are facilitating connections rather than selling, no insurance license is required.

This is a high-energy, high-volume virtual position designed for individuals who are tech-savvy, punctual, and possess a “smile that shines through their voice.”


Key Responsibilities & Daily Tasks

Consumer Connection & Concierge Service

  • Inbound/Outbound Calls: Handle a high volume of calls (approx. 5 seconds apart) to qualify consumers and match them with appropriate insurance agents.

  • Script Adherence: Utilize AWL’s internal platform to read scripts accurately while maintaining a natural, energetic tone.

  • Follow-Up: Conduct check-in calls to ensure consumer needs were met and record feedback to improve the service experience.

Team Collaboration & Performance

  • Virtual Communication: Stay in constant contact with leadership and peers via team chat.

  • Coaching & Growth: Participate in occasional screen-sharing sessions for real-time coaching to maintain high call-quality standards.

  • Goal Orientation: Work toward performance-based advancement opportunities within the broader AWL organization.


Requirements & Technical Specifications

Core Qualifications

  • Communication: Superior verbal skills; must be easy to understand and capable of taking charge of a conversation.

  • Tech Proficiency: Competent computer skills with the ability to multitask across different software windows.

  • Education/Experience: While specific experience isn’t listed, a background in customer service or hospitality is highly beneficial.

Home Office & Equipment

  • Connectivity: High-speed internet (min. 50 Mbps download) with a mandatory Cat 6 Ethernet cable connection (No Wi-Fi).

  • Environment: A strictly noise-free background is required at all times.

  • Provided Gear: AWL provides a company laptop.

  • Employee-Provided Gear: You must provide your own working USB headset and mouse.

Virtual Training Requirements

  • Hardware: A personal laptop/PC with a working webcam is required for the first two days of virtual training.

  • Commitment: Ability to attend two weeks of mandatory virtual training.


Schedule & Compensation

  • Type: Part-Time (Virtual).

  • Hours: Minimum of 20 hours per week with a SET schedule.

  • Operating Hours: M-F (7 AM – 8:30 PM), Sat (9 AM – 6 PM), and Sun (11 AM – 6 PM).

  • Location: Must reside and work within the State of Texas.
