In this position, you will act as a critical engine for category growth, supporting the Category Marketing Manager in navigating the complex “Consumer Durables” landscape of the UAE. From analyzing revenue drivers to adapting global “Local for Local” campaigns for the Dubai market, your work will directly impact how Philips improves lives through meaningful innovation in personal care and domestic appliances.


Key Responsibilities

The Consumer Marketing Specialist operates at the intersection of business intelligence and brand storytelling:

1. Business & Commercial Support

  • P&L & Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing revenue and profitability drivers, helping the team understand the “why” behind the numbers to optimize business health.

  • Strategic Roadmap Execution: Provide hands-on support in developing and implementing business strategies that ensure long-term competitive strength.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct pricing analysis and market research to support product development and identify emerging consumer trends.

  • Omni-channel Implementation: Help execute tailored strategies across Traditional Trade, Modern Trade (Power Retailers), and the rapidly expanding E-commerce sector.

2. Marketing & Brand Activation

  • End-to-End Campaign Support: Assist in the rollout of integrated marketing plans, including Above-the-Line (ATL) , Below-the-Line (BTL) , and high-impact digital campaigns.

  • “Local for Local” Adaptation: Take global Philips brand assets and adapt them specifically for the UAE’s diverse, multicultural audience to ensure maximum local relevance.

  • Consumer Insights: Support the gathering of digital-first consumer insights to refine value propositions and enhance brand positioning.

  • Portfolio Management: Help manage the product lifecycle and portfolio tasks, ensuring the right products are in the right channels at the right time.


Required Qualifications & Skills
