Job Overview
The Construction Coordinator supports the Underground Maintenance and Construction Management teams, monitoring contractor performance, coordinating field activities, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting with maintenance kitting and staging to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Requirements

5+ years coordination experience in industrial or heavy industry projects

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Strong computer skills, including SAP and warehousing systems

Proven ability to monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with safety and project requirements

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills

Experience in mining, potash, oil & gas, chemical processing, or industrial sectors preferred
Responsibilities

Act as primary support for Underground Maintenance Supervisors

Attend toolbox talks, safety meetings, and coordination meetings

Monitor contractor performance in the field and assess progress

Identify potential safety risks and develop safe work plans

Assist with kitting and staging of materials for maintenance teams
