Job Summary
The Sales Support Associate II at Coach (Tapestry Inc.) is a high-impact hybrid role located at the Tanger Outlets in Ottawa. As a critical link between the back-of-house logistics and the front-of-house customer experience, you are responsible for the “Product Lifecycle”—from the moment a shipment arrives to the final interaction at the cash wrap. This role requires the “wit” to navigate luxury POS systems and the “grit” to manage heavy shipment processing in a high-volume outlet environment.

Core Responsibilities
Stockroom & Logistics (The Engine)
-
Shipment Processing: Receive, scan, and verify cartons/transfers against Coach standards, ensuring 100% accuracy in store information.
-
Inventory Management: Organize the stockroom daily, reacting to sell-through patterns to ensure the sales floor is constantly replenished with “Hero Products.“
-
Loss Prevention: Maintain strict adherence to Company Loss Prevention standards and participate in scheduled physical inventory counts.
-
BOH Maintenance: Ensure the back-of-house is clean, organized, and optimized for speed, including waste and cardboard disposal.
Cash Wrap & Service (The Impression)

-
Competencies: Must demonstrate Courage (direct feedback), Customer Focus, and Drive for Results.
Market Insights: Luxury Outlet Operations
Working in an outlet environment like Tanger Outlets requires a specific operational mindset:
-
High-Volume Logistics: Unlike boutique locations, outlet stockrooms must handle massive turnover. Efficient “Scan-to-Floor” timing is the difference between meeting or missing sales targets.
-
The “Inclusive” Luxury Model: Coach emphasizes an “accessible luxury” experience. This means providing the same high-touch service found on 5th Avenue while managing the fast pace of an outlet mall.
-
Inventory Accuracy: In luxury retail, a single missing handbag can significantly impact a store’s “Shrinkage” metrics. Support Associates are the first line of defense in maintaining “Integrity-first” inventory levels.
Job Description
Do you believe that a luxury brand is only as strong as its foundation in the stockroom? Coach is seeking a Sales Support Associate II to join our Ottawa Tanger Outlets team. We aren’t just selling leather goods; we are crafting an “inclusive and courageous” experience for every guest. If you have the “grit” to process a 50-carton shipment and the “wit” to provide seamless service at the cash wrap, you belong in our Tapestry family.
In this role, you are a “Flow Specialist.” You understand that the sales team can only succeed if the right product is in the right place at the right time. Your goal is to provide “Excellence in Execution,” ensuring the stockroom is a model of NYC efficiency and the cash wrap is a place of genuine connection. We look for “Integrity-first” associates who are versatile learners and thrive in the face of ambiguity.
Joining Coach means joining a global fashion house that rewards your drive for results and invests in your growth. We offer a supportive environment, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to work with some of the most beautiful, crafted-to-last products in the industry. If you are a self-motivated retail professional with a commitment to “Courage and Creativity,” we invite you to apply and help us stretch what’s possible at Tanger Outlets.
Coach | Ottawa & The Global Luxury Leather House
Coach, a subsidiary of Tapestry, Inc., is a leading American design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle collections. In Ottawa, Coach maintains a strong presence through two primary retail concepts: a high-end full-price boutique in the city’s urban core and a high-volume outlet in the west end. Known for its heritage in leather craftsmanship since 1941, the brand has successfully pivoted toward a “Gen Z” demographic through its sustainability-focused Coachtopia line and a modern, inclusive approach to luxury.
Company Culture: “Courageous & Inclusive Luxury”
The culture at Coach is driven by the global vision of “Modern Luxury” and the spirit of its New York City roots.
