Job Overview: Full-Time Nanny (Long-Term Role)
A family in Houston is seeking a highly professional and dedicated Nanny for a multi-year partnership. This role is focused on the comprehensive care of an infant (0–11 months) and offers a unique blend of high-level responsibility and premium benefits, including international travel opportunities.

Key Responsibilities & Daily Tasks
Infant Care & Development

Attentive Care: Provide specialized care for an infant, including feeding, nap schedules, and cloth diapering.

Developmental Play: Design and engage in activities that foster age-appropriate physical, cognitive, and emotional milestones.

Educational Focus: Utilize an interest in teaching or child development to create an enriching environment for the child.
Logistics & Household Support

Transportation: Safely drive the child to and from daycare (once the child is age-eligible).

Light Housekeeping: Assist with tasks related to the child’s well-being and maintaining a tidy nursery/common area.

Pet Interaction: Maintain a comfortable environment for the family’s pets—an elderly trained sport dog and a cat.
Qualifications & Requirements
Core Competencies

Infant Experience: Extensive, verifiable experience specifically with children under 12 months old.

Certifications: Must hold CPR and First Aid certification (or be willing to obtain it immediately).

Licensing: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.

Health: Must be a non-smoker.
Linguistic & Educational Preferences

Primary Languages: Fluency in English and German (Hochdeutsch) is highly preferred.

Additional Languages: Proficiency in Mandarin or Arabic is a significant advantage.

Background: A background in education, early childhood development, or teaching is preferred.
Compensation & Schedule

Hourly Rate: $21.00 – $36.00 per hour (DOE).

Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Paid Downtime: Once the child starts daycare (3–5 days/week), the nanny receives paid downtime from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
