We are currently seeking a Client Service Representative to join our Commercial Insurance department at our Toronto branch!

In this capacity, you will be accountable for supporting and managing a lucrative portfolio of accounts in alignment with individual corporate strategies and firm goals.

Your Day as a Client Service Representative

  • Solicit and track outstanding endorsements, policy records, or data from both consumers and insurance providers.

  • Draft renewal documents and proposals for fresh commercial accounts.

  • Address written inquiries and incoming calls from underwriters and consumers.

  • Partner with Client Service Managers and Client Executives to facilitate negotiations with insurers for new business, renewals, and adjustments.

  • Examine contract language and other records for precision, identifying and fixing discrepancies as needed.

  • Establish abeyance logs to monitor pending tasks from markets, clients, and underwriters.

  • Handle the marketing of renewals and fresh accounts when required.

  • Track and manage the collection of outstanding consumer payments.

  • Develop and refine operational workflows.

  • Oversee monthly Bordeaux reporting where necessary.

  • Direct invoicing and manage account receivables.

  • Perform diverse specialized projects and administrative duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A minimum of three years of background in Commercial Insurance lines.

  • Mandatory professional certification (RIBO).

  • Possession of CAIB or CIP credentials is considered an advantage.

  • Comprehensive understanding of insurance markets and specific policy language.
