Job Overview: Client Partner – Media & Entertainment

ClifyX is seeking a high-energy, P&L-carrying Client Partner to lead and expand a strategic portfolio within the North American Media & Entertainment (M&E) vertical. Reporting to the North America Vertical Head, this is a high-visibility role focused on the West Coast market, though it requires building and cultivating stakeholder relationships in NYC and other major media hubs.

You will act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives at global studios, broadcasters, streamers, and gaming publishers, driving multi-million-dollar transformations in cloud, AI, and digital revenue.


Key Responsibilities & Revenue Strategy

Strategic Account Growth

  • P&L Ownership: Manage the overall relationship, revenue growth, and profitability for a named set of West Coast accounts, aiming for $10M+ in annual portfolio revenue.

  • Large Deal Origination: Identify, shape, and close multi-year deals in high-growth areas: DTC platform modernization, Generative AI (localization/synthetic media), AdTech, and Media Supply Chain transformation.

  • Roadmap Co-Creation: Partner with CDOs and CTOs to design long-term technology roadmaps and translate them into actionable, high-value programs.

Leadership & Pursuit

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead pursuit teams across solutions, delivery, pre-sales, and alliances to position complex capabilities effectively.

  • Voice of the Customer: Represent the specific needs of West Coast media majors internally to influence company offerings, R&D investments, and partnerships.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build a “warm network” of C-level and VP-level executives, serving as an expert in evolving media trends and client value.


Qualifications & Pre-requisites

Industry Experience

  • Tenure: 10–15+ years of total experience, with at least 5 years specifically within the North American M&E industry (studios, networks, or streaming platforms).

  • Consulting Background: A proven track record of exceeding personal revenue targets, ideally with the last 5+ years in consulting, IT services, or advisory firms.

  • Network: Mandatory existing relationships with senior executives at West Coast media majors.

Domain Expertise (Minimum of Two Required)

  • Content Supply Chain: Post-production and studio workflows.

  • DTC/OTT Operations: SVOD, AVOD, and FAST monetization.

  • AdTech: Programmatic advertising and audience analytics.

  • Infrastructure: Media cloud transformation and rights management.

Educational Background

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech, MS).

  • Preferred: MBA strongly preferred.

  • Communication: Exceptional storytelling and executive presence; experience speaking at industry events like NAB, IBC, or CES is a significant plus.
