Job Overview
The Class 1 Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, transporting freight efficiently, and maintaining smooth logistics operations. This part-time, in-person role requires experience with flatdeck and railyard operations, adherence to safety regulations, and physical ability to handle freight and equipment.

Requirements

• Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles on assigned routes

• Experience with flatdeck operations and tarping

• Experience working in CP/CN railyards

• Adhere to transportation regulations and safety protocols

• Maintain timely and efficient delivery schedules

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial driving or freight transportation

• Knowledge of forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and vehicle maintenance a plus

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Physical ability to load/unload freight, lift heavy objects, and perform vehicle inspections
