Job Overview:
The Class 4 Bus Driver transports children safely to and from our childcare centres during morning and afternoon school shifts. You will maintain vehicle safety, assist students, and communicate effectively with staff while ensuring punctual and secure transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport school-aged children safely in company vehicles.

• Conduct morning and afternoon routes to neighbouring schools.

• Assist children with boarding and exiting vehicles.

• Perform pre- and post-route vehicle safety inspections.

• Maintain cleanliness, fuel, and general vehicle safety.

• Obey traffic laws and follow route instructions.

• Communicate clearly with centre management and staff.

• Complete other duties as required to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Class 4 Full License (non-GDL) with commercial passenger experience.

• 1+ year of commercial driving experience; school bus experience is an asset.

• Able to provide clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract.

• Able to provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.

• Strong attention to safety, detail, and following instructions.

Schedule:

• Part-time, school days only, Monday to Friday.

• Morning: 7:45 am – 9:45 am

• Afternoon: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

• No weekends or summer months.

• Start date aligned with Alberta Teachers’ Association strike resolution.
