Job Overview
As a Casual Labourer in Solid Waste Operations, you will support landfill, collection, and community programs through physical, operational, and customer-facing duties. Your work includes waste classification, scale operations, equipment handling, inspections, and bylaw compliance while ensuring safety standards and efficient daily operations in diverse weather conditions.

Requirements

• Completion of Grade 12 or GED equivalent

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Ability to perform heavy physical labour in all weather conditions

• Availability for non-standard hours and shifts

Qualifications

• Knowledge of weigh-scale operations

• Experience with powered mobile equipment and hand tools

• Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations

• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
